What is Dihexa?
Dihexa is a synthetic peptide derived from angiotensin IV — a fragment of the renin-angiotensin system — developed by researchers at Washington State University. It was designed to cross the blood-brain barrier and act on the hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) / MET receptor system, which plays a key role in synaptogenesis — the formation of new synaptic connections between neurons.
It is one of the most potent nootropic peptides studied in preclinical models by the metric of synaptic density improvement, with researchers at WSU describing it as several orders of magnitude more potent than BDNF in its pro-cognitive effects in animal models.
What the research shows
Synaptogenesis: Animal studies show Dihexa dramatically increases synapse formation in the hippocampus — the brain region central to learning and memory consolidation.
Cognitive performance: Aged rats with cognitive impairment showed significant improvements in spatial memory and learning tasks after Dihexa administration versus controls.
HGF/MET pathway: Dihexa potentiates HGF signalling at the MET receptor — a pathway involved in neuronal survival, migration, and synapse formation.
Blood-brain barrier: Dihexa was designed for BBB penetration, which was confirmed in animal studies and is relevant for a central nervous system target.
Ordering Dihexa in Bali
Dihexa is not a controlled substance under Indonesian BPOM regulations. Same-day delivery may be possible only after the team confirms the exact item, current availability, route, daily cutoff, complete villa or hotel address, and timing before ordering.
Common Questions
Q: How does Dihexa compare to Semax or Selank?
Semax and Selank act primarily on neurotransmitter modulation and BDNF expression. Dihexa acts on the HGF/MET pathway to directly promote new synaptic connections — a structurally different mechanism. It is considered a more potent but less well-characterised compound.
Q: Is there human data?
Human clinical data is extremely limited. Almost all data is from animal models. Dihexa is one of the more experimental compounds in our catalogue and is suited to researchers with existing familiarity with nootropic peptides.
Q: Storage?
Refrigerate at 2–8°C. Use within 28 days of reconstitution. Ships cold-packed.
